  Wonderful apartments in a park, with friendly neighbors and helpful staff.

  “This site allows a max of 3 stars; I'd give ten if I could. I have never before lived in a place as wonderful as this. Been here over a year now, and - management is helpful, maintenance is lightning-fast, capable and kind, and the other tenants are friendly, sociable and actual *neighbors*.\nI can't tell you how fortunate I feel to live in such a beautiful place.\nApartments are clean and well-maintained, perfect landscaping, a river runs through it with *ducks* on it (and ducklings in the spring), and there is a large, heated swimming pool and hot tub. I don't use the tennis courts (as I'm disabled), but they are present and well-maintained. Everyone has been very kind to me.\n\nI like it so well here that I'm in the process of moving from a studio ($750/575sq.ft.) to a one-bedroom ($998/700 sq.ft.).\n\nI can't over-emphasize what a beautiful place this is to live. I'd recommend it to anyone.\nAnd ParaTransit comes regularly, as well as being very near the Flex Shuttle stop, a grocery store, a Walgreen's, and all kinds of food (as well as the AC Transit stop, and just over a mile from BART -- between BayFair and San Leandro).”

  Pruneyard West Apartments

  “The grounds are very well kept but, the management is lacking. They do allow dogs but only if they are the kind that don't bark :) This is really a beautiful place, but you only need look over the fence to see the section 8 nightmare that awaits you. I think people are hustling cars out of the street here (hard to find parking). There is also a bad smell of sewers at night not sure why. As a plus you will be very close to the pruneyard plaza! There is plenty of dining and shopping experiences to be had.”

  “I have been a renter at 2501 Ivy Drive for 4 years. The house is old but well maintained. Any problems that arise are immediately taken care of. Very responsible landlord. Also, for an apartment building this size, it's really quiet.”
